The science of the art of capoeira

Armada Dupla Tutorial | Narcelio

Aka Double Leg for trickers

In this video Contra Mestre Narcelio (CDO Fortaleza) takes you step by step through the Armada Dupla acrobatic capoeira kick. As you will notice he takes no run-up and performs it right from the ginga, perfect for real use in the roda and for combining with other moves too (trick it up!). Watch the step by step break-down and remember to practice somewhere soft with supervision if you're trying this out for the first time.

Armada Dupla also goes by the names of Arco Iris (Rainbow) and Arqueado, of course trickers call it double leg, which is a good translation.
